Chief Executive Officer, UAS Operator, Co-Founder of MilUAS

Joachim Riise

Joachim is the Chief Executive Officer of MilUAS, bringing over 25 years of Business experience in the military equipment industry to the role.

With an entrepreneurial mindset and expertise in system technology and supply chain management, he has played a pivotal role in driving MilUAS’s startup process. His career is defined by a proven track record of success in challenging and competitive markets, including multiple successful startups.

Joachim also has a strong military background, having served as an Infantry Officer and operator for over 10 years (full and part time). His leadership and operational experience enhance his ability to support national defense initiatives effectively. Combining his military expertise with technical proficiency and business acumen, Joachim is dedicated to equipping modern defense forces with innovative tools to ensure mission success.

In addition to his professional achievements, Joachim holds a Civilian EASA A1, A2, and A3 Remote Pilot Certificate, as well as a Norwegian Military UAS Operator Certification.

Chief Operations and Innovation Officer, UAS Operator, Co-Founder of MilUAS

Aleksander Gudmunseth

Aleksander is the Chief Operations and Innovation Officer at MilUAS, where he expertly balances operational management with the pursuit of technological advancements in the UAS sector.

With a robust background in anti-corruption and bribery prevention, particularly in finance and third-party risk management, coupled with extensive operational experience as a certified drone operator, he strategically guides MilUAS towards operational excellence and robust risk assessment practices. His leadership is crucial in ensuring that both the daily operations and developmental projects align with the company’s ethical standards and strategic objectives.

A veteran and an active member of the Norwegian Home Guard, Aleksander has been instrumental in integrating advanced drone technology into practical applications, enhancing both military and civilian operations. His professional credentials, including a Civilian EASA A1, A2, and A3 Remote Pilot Certificate and a Norwegian Military UAS Operator, underscore his capability to manage complex UAV operations in diverse settings.
